• During your thesis, you enhance and optimize an existing decision support system to significantly boost its impact and intelligence.
• Furthermore, you research and implement new features—such as the integration of AI/ML models (e.g., Large Language Models with Retrieval-Augmented Generation)—to propose architectural designs or perform compatibility checks.
• In Addition, you deepen the system's integration into existing development processes by creating automated interfaces to requirements engineering systems, thereby reducing manual effort.
• You improve the user experience through advanced visualization techniques and the creation of distinct user roles and views, making complex data more accessible.
• Moreover, you conduct studies to evaluate the system's long-term impact on key metrics such as time-to-market and development costs.
• Lastly, you collaborate closely with product and system architects, project managers, and subject matter experts to ensure the practical relevance and applicability of your work.

• Education: master studies in the field of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or comparable with good grades 
• Experience and Knowledge: experience in software development; data modeling; system architecture
• Personality and Working Practice: you are able to work independently and proactively on complex issues, always maintaining a structured approach and successfully contributing to our team
• Work Routine: office attendance required
• Languages: good in German and very good in English

Start: according to prior agreement

Duration: 6 months

Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
