Pharmacy Intern Per Diem

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Dispenses and compounds prescribed medications for patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Labels, packages, manufactures and distributes medications in all areas of the department. Reviews and monitors medications prescribed by clinicians and provides drug information.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma/GED.

Must be enrolled as a full time student in an accredited school of pharmacy and graduating in 2027 or 2028.

Completed first professional year of pharmacy school.

Is eligible to receive a NYS pharmacy intern permit.

Must be able to work weekends and or holidays.
