Arbeitsbeschreibung - Praktikant (m/w/d) - M&A/Investment Banking

Main focus on Strategy

You analyze industries, business models, competitors and search for potential investors or targets in the respective transaction processes
You support our deal teams in the preparation of company exposés and information memoranda
You accompany due diligence processes by preparing information and managing the data room

Main focus on Finance

You work on and review financial plans and LBO models together with the project teams
You create peer groups and develop company valuations based on various methods such as CCA, CTA and DCF
You support the analysis and preparation of financial information in all phases of M&A projects

You work in small, experienced teams with flat hierarchies
You benefit from individual mentoring by our analysts and senior professionals
You will face challenging and exciting projects in different sectors
Your work location is in the heart of Leipzig - one of the most dynamic growth regions in Germany

You are studying in the field of economics/business law/finance or in related fields with (very) good academic results
Ideally, you have already completed internships in M&A/investment banking/private equity/audit or banking or in strategic/commercial departments of a company
As an entrepreneurial personality, you can quickly get familiar with new tasks and work in a highly quality and success-oriented manner
You have a good understanding of business models and competitive environments as well as corporate figures
You have very good German and English skills
