Private Equity Intern - Real Estate Acquisitions (m/f)

Marco Polo Group  is a fully integrated European real estate development and asset management platform focused on real estates most innovative asset classes. Founded in 2017, MPG is comprised of seasoned industry professionals who where among them responsible for successfully creating EUR 3.5bn in Enterprise Value, constructing +2.500.000 square meters and operating 14.000 beds across most European countries. MPG is currently developing projects in volume of EUR 850.000.000 and 120.000 m2.

• Focus on deal flow generation and sourcing attractive investment opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships within the German and European real estate eco-system (brokers, property owners, etc.)
• Use your creativity and entrepreneurial instinct to drive proprietary deals
• Collect data for deal evaluation and run initial financial and feasibility assessments
• Help shaping processes and best practices for the real estate acquisition department
• Take ownership and working highly independently on various projects

• You have a strong interest in real estate and a good understanding of the fundamentals
• Ideally you bring previous deal making experience and an existing network of relationships that will help us generate deal flow
• You like to work in a structured, performance- and data-driven environment
• You are able to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• You possess a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude and passion for excellence
• You have the strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to partner across teams, summarise issues, develop recommendations, and make decisions
• Fluency in German and English required, further languages are a small plus
