QuantumDiamonds is looking for a proactive Process Automation & AI Enablement Intern (f/m/d) to join our CEO Office and help scale one of Europe's most exciting deep-tech startups. In this role, you'll automate workflows, implement AI-powered solutions, and improve processes across teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations.

Working on high-impact projects from end to end, you'll leverage modern automation and AI tools to eliminate manual work, connect systems, and help the company operate more efficiently as we grow. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. What will you do

Supply Chain: Automate how product and part data flows through our systems, so that changes in our engineering tools propagate automatically, enabling clean workflows between our CAD tools, PDM server, and ERP.
Finance: Automate the flow between our Finance team and ERP system, so financial reports and models for public funding programmes stay clean and audit-ready, and so the data behind every strategic decision is real-time and reliable.
Sales: Build on our Pipedrive campaign automations to power pipeline growth across the funnel, from lead enrichment and first-touch outreach through to after-sales analysis, enabling a more analytics-driven sales approach.
Workflows: Make everyone across the company faster by automating the recurring work that eats time, from notes and documentation to slides and screening.

What is expected of you

Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
A genuine interest in process design, automation, and applying AI to real operational problems.
Hands-on familiarity with automation and tools such as n8n, Zapier, Claude, and Notion, or with ERP systems and data tooling.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
An ownership mentality: you take initiative, drive topics end to end, and want real responsibility rather than just supporting others.
A hands-on attitude and comfort in a fast-paced startup where priorities evolve quickly.

About us

QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops and manufactures semiconductor inspection systems based on quantum sensing. Spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2022, the company uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to map electrical current with micrometer precision inside advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures. Nine of the world's ten largest semiconductor manufacturers are engaged with QuantumDiamonds, with systems deployed across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The company is investing €152 million to build the world's first production facility for quantum sensing-based semiconductor inspection tools, supported under the European Chips Act.
