Arbeitsbeschreibung - Procurement Specialist Intern

The Procurement Manager, based in Berlin/Potsdam will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, from ordering and receiving to inventory management. A focus on cost-effective purchasing, timely deliveries, and smooth operations will be key to success in this role.

Oversee the procurement process from ordering to receiving and inventory management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers..
Ensure inventory levels are accurate and optimized to prevent stock shortages or excess.
Process purchase orders and ensure timely and correct delivery of materials.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to forecast and fulfill procurement needs.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to maintain cost-effective purchasing and stay within budget.
Keep accurate records of all procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier contracts.
Assist with daily and weekly inventory and communicate the line items to management.

Prio experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
Knowledge in inventory management and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Proficient in forecasting procurement needs and collaborating with internal teams.
Ability to analyze data, track procurement performance, and generate reports.
Skilled in contract management and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
Focused on cost optimization and budget adherence.
Proven track record in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
