Arbeitsbeschreibung - Founder's Associate Intern (m/f/d)

Are you a student or recent graduate who wants to work directly with and learn from the CTO & Co-Founder of a VC-backed tech startup and help shape the future of how professionals interact with data? Are you excited by tech, curious by nature, and ready to dive deep into all things AI, product, engineering, and strategy?

Then join acto as a Founder's Associate Intern (m/f/d) to our CTO & Co-Founder, Andre! You’ll support high-impact projects at the intersection of engineering and business, helping us scale smarter while learning from an experienced tech leader in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Be the CTO’s Right Hand: Support our Co-Founder & CTO with technical planning, internal tools, and product-related tasks, from team coordination to infrastructure decisions.
  • Contribute Across the Stack: Assist with coding tasks (backend/frontend), build internal tooling, or help implement features, depending on your skills, interests, and learning goals.
  • Improve Team Workflows: Help organize and optimize how our engineering team works, whether it’s helping with planning, task tracking or monitoring.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Conduct deep dives into emerging technologies (LLMs, SaaS architectures, cloud infra) and help the CTO assess and implement what’s truly valuable.
  • Bridge Tech & Product: Learn how engineering and product align, by helping coordinate sprints, prepare planning docs, or improve technical communication across teams.
  • Learn by Doing: Get exposure to real SaaS startup challenges, from infrastructure to AI product decisions, and contribute in a meaningful way.
  • Education and Technical Curiosity: You’ve recently graduated or are studying Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, and can demonstrate a solid technical foundation.
  • First Coding Experience: You’ve worked with modern web technologies and are comfortable writing code, using APIs, and working with databases (in personal projects, coursework, or internships).
  • Hands-on Attitude: You enjoy figuring things out, whether it’s setting up a tool, debugging a script, or organizing a roadmap.
  • Structured & Communicative: You’re organized, communicate clearly, and like breaking down complex topics into clear actions.
  • Startup Interest: You’re excited by SaaS, scalable systems, and what it takes to build a product from the ground up.
  • Speak Fluently: Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
  • Exposure to DevOps (CI/CD, containers, monitoring)
  • Prior startup, VC-backed or founder’s associate experience
  • Development Opportunities: Steep development opportunities without entrenched hierarchies.
