VIDEO EDITOR INTERN (m/f/x)

40 hours per week // Berlin based // 3 months

COLORS is a unique aesthetic music platform showcasing exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on promoting the most distinctive new artists and original sounds. In the context of an increasingly fragmented and saturated scene, we seek to provide clarity and calm, offering a minimalistic stage to shine a spotlight on the artists and give them the opportunity to present their music without distraction.

JOB OVERVIEW:

COLORS has succeeded in building a platform that has created a space for creatives to share their art. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to support our post-production team for three months across a variety of digital content projects. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone looking to grow their editing skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

The Video Editor Intern will support the team and projects across the following areas:

• Assist with editing short-form and long-form video content (e.g., interviews, branded content, social media clips).


• Organize and maintain footage, project files, and post-production assets.


• Sync audio, color correct, and apply basic transitions, titles, and effects.


• Creating online and offline edits.


• Export and deliver final assets in required formats.


• Support the post-production team with versioning, captioning, and file management.


• Participate in internal review sessions and implement feedback.
  
  

WHO WE’D LOVE TO WORK WITH:

• You have a basic understanding of post-production workflows, codecs, and file formats.
  
  
  
  • A portfolio or relevant references showcasing previous work is a plus
  
  
  
  


• You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn and improve workflows.


• You are proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.


• You have strong attention to detail and are open to receiving feedback.


• You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.


• You possess clear and professional communication skills, are organized and reliable.


• You are fluent in English (written and spoken), with any additional languages being a plus.
  
  

BONUS IF YOU HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED):

• Prior editing experience through personal projects, school work, or internships.


• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs), Slack, Notion, or other project management tools.


• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Film, Media, or related program.


• Passion for independent music, fashion, and storytelling, and an appreciation for the diverse cultures and sounds featured on COLORS.
