Our internships and final theses take at least four months and take place full-time on site in Neuburg. In addition to unique insights into the world of motorsport, we offer fair pay and make you part of the team that brings Audi to the pinnacle of motorsports. Audi Formula Racing GmbH is a subsidiary of Audi Sport and was founded in 2022 for the brand's Formula 1 entry. A team of experts who are passionate about developing the power unit will train and support you.
Our positions are currently scheduled to start in September or October 2025, and to apply we need your current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment and, if applicable, the examination regulations from your university as well as a current, official grade abstract. Within the Quality Management department, we are responsible for the realisation of all qualitative component requirements for the entire F1 Power Unit. This area of responsibility covers the entire life cycle of manufactured components, from the development and testing phase to the analysis after the end of the service life period, or in the event of damage.As an intern, you will be right in the middle of the action and work directly on the quality assurance of our Power Unit. You will gain exciting insights into the most important component requirements and learn how we check their quality.
You will support our team flexibly in quality checks of the components - from preparation and tests to the evaluation and documentation of the results.
This means that you will be involved in the entire testing process from start to finish and gain valuable experience in a real high-tech environment.
- Successfully completed basic studies in a technical degree programme specialising in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering or similar
- Basic understanding of quality and processes
- Good IT skills (Office applications)
- Good basic technical understanding
- Basic knowledge of engine/hybrid systems & interest in motorsport
- Goal-orientated, independent and structured way of working
- Strong realisation skills and a high degree of motivation and initiative
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of German or English
