WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Are you planning the perfect start to your career and want to get the best possible start in the professional world?
Then you've come to the right place! You will have the opportunity to get to know the various production processes and technologies at BASF Chemetall & Coatings over a period of 18 to 24 months and build up in-depth expertise in a dynamic and innovative industry.

• Together with you, we will design and plan three to four stations where you will gain extensive insights and experience in the field of industrial engineering. This will prepare you ideally for your future target position in a production-related environment at the Langelsheim site.


• During these placements, you will be able to actively participate in a wide range of practical activities/projects, e.g., in the asset-related environment of our production facilities with a focus on plant optimization, in the planning and assembly phase of investment projects, or in the development and optimization of production processes within an international community of experts.


• In our surface treatment production facilities in particular, you will be able to get directly involved and, for example, independently plan and implement activities for process improvement, digitalization, or process reliability.


• You will be given independent projects in which you can apply your specialist knowledge and continuously expand your network within the international production network of BASF Chemetall & Coatings.


• A three- to six-month assignment abroad or at another business unit is an integral part of the program.


• We will coordinate your start date with you flexibly.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• successfully completed master's degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering with links to chemistry, or comparable courses of study


• practical experience in engineering, e.g., in the form of internships or student project work


• initial experience in project management


• experience abroad (e.g., internship, semester abroad, student exchange, etc.)


• fluent communication in German and English
