Treasury Back Office Working Student (f/m/d)

The Treasury Back Office team operates as the administrative and operational foundation of the treasury department, ensuring that trades executed by the front office are settled, recorded, and audited accurately. In your role, you will support managing the post-trade administrative lifecycle to ensure seamless transaction settlement and strict adherence to financial controls.

Your Role

• Transaction Settlement: execute, match, and confirm all treasury deals, including foreign exchange (FX), money market transactions, and derivatives.


• Payment Processing: manage treasury-related payments and maintain Standard 


• Settlement Instructions (SSI) to ensure funds are transferred securely and on time.


• Account Reconciliation: Perform daily bank statement reconciliations with internal records to resolve any discrepancies or "open items".


• Static Data Management: Maintain critical master data within the Treasury Management System (TMS).


• Audit Support: Maintain a comprehensive audit trail and provide documentation for internal and external auditors during reviews.

• Currently a student in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar


• First training or practical experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, or banking is a plus.


• High affinity for numbers, banking and IT-related technical topics


• Proficiency in MS Excel


• Ability to work in a team atmosphere


• Independent working style, very accurate and fast comprehension and high commitment


• You have excellent German and English language skills – both written and spoken.
