To support our growth in Germany, Avertim is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Manager to join our Frankfurt office in Life Sciences.

You will play an active role in developing our consulting business by driving client relationships, supporting commercial growth, and contributing to the development of our consulting talent in an international environment.

The position is offered as a one‑year VIE assignment starting in June 2026, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. To ensure a strong and structured start, the mission will begin with a two‑week onboarding program at our Group headquarters in Brussels, designed to help you fully immerse yourself in Avertim’s values, culture, and the Business Manager role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Actively contribute to the identification of business opportunities, prospects, and relevant industry events in the German Life Sciences consulting market.
  • Prepare and adapt commercial presentations, pitch decks, credentials and proposals in support of business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.

Market & Offers

  • Conduct market and competitor research to analyze Life Sciences industry trends, key players, and potential clients.
  • Actively support the preparation of responses to calls for tenders / RFPs, including coordination of inputs, structuring of content, and consolidation of contributions from internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation and formalization of client offers and proposals, including background documentation, value propositions, credentials, and commercial presentations.

Recruitment & Talent Engagement

  • Support recruitment activities by identifying high‑potential talent and optimizing recruitment channels.
  • Conduct initial interviews and contribute to candidate pre‑selection and follow‑up.
  • Assist in organizing and supporting recruitment events and talent engagement initiatives.

What we’re Looking For:

  • You demonstrate a strong business development mindset and solid business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into value‑driven opportunities.
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales or related roles, including internships and/or apprenticeship (alternance) experiences.
  • You show a strong interest in the Life Sciences sector, with a clear motivation to build a career in this industry.
  • You are fluent in English and German; French is a strong asset.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and feel comfortable in a client‑facing and business‑oriented role.
  • You are proactive, well‑organized and results‑driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
