HR Specialist

Location: Germany, Munich area (or willing to relocate) - hybrid
Languages: German & English (fluent)
Travel: Occasional (DACH), depending on projects and growth phase
Working Hours: 20 hours / week (with the option to extend to full -time if necessary)

As we grow, we are building our HR function from the ground up to support a scaling, high -performance engineering organization.


Your responsibilities
  • HR Foundation & Structure: Build and continuously develop HR processes, structures, and standards across the employee lifecycle—recruiting, onboarding, development, performance, and offboarding. You’ll start from existing basics and turn them into a scalable, well -documented HR setup.
  • People Operations: Own day -to -day HR operations, ensuring smooth, compliant, and employee -friendly processes - from contracts and documentation to policies, tools, and workflows.
  • Recruiting & Employer Experience: Partner with leadership to drive hiring across technical and non -technical roles. Support end -to -end recruiting processes and ensure a professional, positive candidate and onboarding experience.
  • Change & Growth Enablement: Support organizational growth and change initiatives (new structures, roles, processes). Help teams and leaders navigate change with clear communication, structured rollouts, and people -first thinking.
  • Employee Relations & Culture: Act as a trusted sparring partner for employees and leaders. Support a transparent, feedback -driven culture aligned with Eleven Dynamics’ values and ways of working.
  • Policies, Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure HR processes comply with German and international labor law and best practices. Maintain clear policies, templates, and documentation that scale with the company.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in HR processes. Build reusable templates, guidelines, and SOPs to professionalize HR operations over time.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a growing startup, scale -up, or technology -driven environment.
  • Builder Mindset: Proven ability to create structure where little exists. Define processes, templates, responsibilities, and clear ownership.
  • Change Management: Experience supporting organizational change, growth phases, or restructuring. Formal change management background is a plus.
  • HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of German labor law, HR operations, and people processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Working Style: Structured, pragmatic, and hands on. You can balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Communication: Clear, empathetic, and professional communication style. Fluent in German & English, written and spoken.

  • Nice to Have
  • Experience in tech, engineering, or industrial environments

  • Exposure to performance management or leadership development

  • HR tooling experience (ideally Datev Personal, Zoho Recruit & Zoho People)
