Legal Counsel (Part-Time)

This role is a unique opportunity to provide expert legal guidance at the heart of Europe’s vibrant travel technology sector, supporting two key businesses within the Camplify Holdings Limited group. You will be the primary legal advisor for PaulCamper, Europe's largest platform for private campervan sharing, and also support Myway Insurance GmbH, our dedicated insurance provider that underpins the safety and security of every rental journey. This position offers the perfect blend of in-house legal work in the dynamic e-commerce, travel, and insurtech industries, all within a flexible part-time schedule. You will:

• Give accurate and timely legal advice on a variety of legal topics (corporate and commercial law, competition law, labour law, GDPR etc.) to CHL’s subsidiaries in Spain, Germany, and Portugal.
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations and develop strategies to mitigate potential legal issues while fostering a culture of compliance.
• Draft and update agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the safekeeping of the company’s and the group’s interests.
• Develop and monitor compliance programs, including GDPR and DAC7.
• Build and maintain relationships with external legal partners, regulatory authorities, & government agencies.
• Keep track of and update management on relevant changes in legislation.
• Manage disputes and litigation, settling small claims within delegated authority.

• Qualified lawyer (J.D., LLM or equivalent being an advantage), ideally with a specialisation in commercial law.
• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a business environment, preferably in a technology company.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills: writing, collaborating, negotiating, and influencing.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including c-suite executives.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and German at a professional level (C1 or native speaker).
• Well-organized and able to manage significant responsibilities effectively within a part-time schedule.
