Job Summary:
The Public Relations Specialist supports strategic communication activities for assigned accounts, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging. This role manages day‑to‑day client communication, coordinates media outreach, and helps maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the primary communications lead for designated client accounts.
• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media statements, and client communications.
• Coordinate with media outlets to secure coverage and manage inquiries.
• Support the development of communication plans and campaigns aligned with client objectives.
• Monitor media trends, coverage, and competitive activities to provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare briefing materials, Q&A documents, and communication updates for clients and internal teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of communication materials and maintain consistent brand messaging.
• For designated client accounts identify and describe value, expertise, and impact, what DXC has on strategic customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Experience in media relations and stakeholder communication is a plus.
