Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Linux Administrator (*gn)

  • You support incident and change handling on 3rd level.    You are responsible for supporting applications and infrastructure services such as DNS, NTP, Postfix, Apache, FTP, Redis, HAProxy.
  • You can program scripts to further simplify and improve workflow automation.
  • You handle configuration management using software solutions such as Ansible and Puppet.
  • You install, configure and administer our complex server environments based on CentOS.





  •     A completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist:in with a focus on system integration or a comparable qualification.
  •     Sound practical experience in a similar position as well as with the described technologies and applications.
  •     Good knowledge of automation and scripting.
  •     Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and container environments is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  •    A certification in the Linux environment.
  •     Good knowledge of German or English.
  •     A quick grasp and structured way of working.
  •     Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and hands-on mentality.
