Student Assistant (all gender)

As a student assistant, you will take over general tasks to be done on a day-to-day basis. Your activities will consist of lab support tasks, including, but not limited to, solution preparation, lab responsibility, general cleaning of lab equipment and archiving relevant documents. You will work for the site in Hanover for up to 20 hours per week, depending on your availability.

• Laboratory housekeeping (glassware cleaning, material handling, waste handling, laboratory monitoring, equipment upkeep and cleaning)
• Laboratory equipment supervision (equipment maintenance and calibration)
• Preparation of solutions including documentation
• Archiving of documents (forms for solution preparation, calibration documents)

• You’re an actively enrolled student on campus
• You’ve a background in a relevant discipline, including, but not limited to, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, or life science.
• You’re proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• You’re accurate and self-organized
• You’re speaking German fluently and have a good command of English
• Previous administrative experience would be advantageous
