UX Designer (m/f/d) - AY Outlet - 20h - Onsite in Hamburg

Our App & Web Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website, and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

Step into the role of a UX Designer (m/f/d) and become a vital part of our fast-paced team, working on a relatively new and rapidly growing product. You will be responsible for developing and integrating new features and improvements daily, conducting A/B tests for every feature, and creating a style guide for the Outlet. Your expertise in research and testing will be invaluable as these capabilities are not yet established in our current processes.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers in the Scrum team to create innovative e-commerce solutions for the ABOUT YOU Outlet mobile app and websites.
• Represent the customer's perspective, ensuring their needs are met in new product features and developments.
• Transfer business problem statements into user-centred solutions.
• Transform feature requirements into practical and intuitive designs, delivering an exceptional user experience across digital products.

Who you are

• Experienced in UX Design within the e-commerce sector, with 2-3 years of practical experience.
• A strong designer with a solid understanding of complex product structures and intricate user flows.
• Proficient in Figma, including components, prototypes, and animations.
• Strong understanding of the end user (e.g., outlet customers).
• Actively reviewing user feedback, reported bugs, business goals and challenges.
• Balancing user needs with business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions.
