Within our exciting R&D environment, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) for our Applied Material Science team, which is responsible for the evaluation of new, innovative and sustainable materials in our rubber compounds for later tires production. 

We are offering a working student (m/f/diverse) position starting in December 2025. Ideally, this position should be filled for the next 12 months with a working time of 20 hours per week. The job is situated in Hanover-Stöcken, but can also be done remote anywhere in Germany with occasional trips to Hanover. 

Your tasks will include the following activities:

• Evaluation of new innovative and/or sustainable materials in rubber compounds for the later use in tires
• Preparation of summaries, reports and presentations for our group
• Patent and literature searches
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including chemists, physicists and compound developers

• Currently, pursuing studies in Natural Sciences or other related fields
• Good networking competencies
• Innovative and visionary spirit
• Good command of common MS Office-programms, such as Powerpoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Very good English language skills, written and spoken
• Motivation to work with sustainability related topics and for research topics
