Working Student (m/f/d) Research & Insights - EMEA Marketing

As a Working Student in the Insights & Creation team, you will support the generation of research-driven content that informs brand communication strategies and positions Stepstone as a trusted authority in the labor market. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects across multiple European markets like Germany, Austria, UK and Ireland - proving valuable international exposure and the chance to build a network beyond you’re their home market. This role requires a passion for research and data storytelling, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Assist in Insights Generation: Support the management of research projects focused on uncovering labor market trends, contributing to the production of data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. 
• Data Storytelling: Help translate complex research findings into engaging narratives that can drive content production and enhance presentations. 
• Support Presentation Preparation: Collaborate in preparing and refining presentations to ensure findings are shared clearly and impactfully at events. 
• Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work alongside sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure research outputs align with business goals, contributing to tailored content for various audiences. 
• Networking Activities: Assist in building relationships with industry professionals, media, and academic communities to promote Stepstone’s thought leadership. 
• Learning & Development: Build hands-on experience with research methods and execution standards, supported by mentorship from senior professionals. 

• Analytical Ability: Foundational skills in data analysis, including data cleaning, working with survey data, and interpreting results to support insight-based narratives. 
• Tools & Software Skills: Confident use of Excel; familiarity with tools like Qualtrics or Power BI is a plus, but not required. 
• Enrollment: Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field like psychology, sociology, economics, or political science. 
• Language Proficiency: Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. 
• Familiarity with market research methodologies: including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Interpretation, and an interest in transforming insights into compelling stories. 
• Interpersonal Skills: Capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Curious Mindset: Demonstrated interest in strategic thinking and KPI-driven business approaches. 
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
