Are you passionate about configuring and maintaining cutting-edge software tools? As a BMC Consultant at Relational Financial Solutions, you will be an essential member of our dynamic ITSM team. Your role will involve collaborating with our talented team to configure, maintain, and customize BMC software products and similar tools, ensuring our solutions align with user needs and business requirements.

Your Role:

As a BMC Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Software Configuration & Support: Configure, maintain, enhance, and support BMC software products and similar tools.
• Customization & Development: Customize and add new features to software solutions based on business requirements using low-code and no-code platforms.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support to resolve application-related issues promptly and support customer operations related to software packages and developed solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct tests for applications, troubleshoot problems, and assist with product launches.
• Software Management: Perform software upgrades and manage software licensing.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• BMC Expertise: Administrator or Developer experience on BMC ITSM or similar tools preferred.
• Development Skills: Proficiency in test-driven development methodologies and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with reporting tools such as Grafana and YellowFin is advantageous. Knowledge of Operations Management and Service Management tools is beneficial.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Eagerness to Learn: Eagerness to take on new responsibilities and challenges. ITIL v4 certification is a plus.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
