Iaponiki S.A. a leading company in the independent automotive Aftermarket in Greece, with a nationwide network of stores and international collaborations, is looking for a Credit Control Supervisor , based in Pallini Attiki:
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the credit control, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure collections.
- Oversee the assessment of creditworthiness of new and existing clients, set credit limits, and monitor ongoing account activities.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue debts, including negotiating payment plans and settlements with clients.
- Prepare regular reports on credit control activities, outstanding debts, and cash flow projections for senior management.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing and resolving any disputes or issues related to credit and payments promptly and professionally.
- Develop and update credit control policies and procedures in line with best practices and company objectives.
- Ensure all credit control activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Cooperate with Sales & company’s Lawyer to take legal actions.
- Cooperate with external auditors, to comply with TAX & accounting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree or ACCA will be considered as an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and use of computers.
- Preferred Certification such as CICM or equivalent.
- Military obligations fulfilled (for male candidates).
- Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Team player.
- Recommendations desirable.
