Credit Control Supervisor

Iaponiki S.A. a leading company in the independent automotive Aftermarket in Greece, with a nationwide network of stores and international collaborations, is looking for a Credit Control Supervisor , based in Pallini Attiki:

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the credit control, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure collections.
• Oversee the assessment of creditworthiness of new and existing clients, set credit limits, and monitor ongoing account activities.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue debts, including negotiating payment plans and settlements with clients.
• Prepare regular reports on credit control activities, outstanding debts, and cash flow projections for senior management.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing and resolving any disputes or issues related to credit and payments promptly and professionally.
• Develop and update credit control policies and procedures in line with best practices and company objectives.
• Ensure all credit control activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
• Cooperate with Sales & company’s Lawyer to take legal actions.
• Cooperate with external auditors, to comply with TAX & accounting requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree or ACCA will be considered as an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and use of computers.
• Preferred Certification such as CICM or equivalent.
• Military obligations fulfilled (for male candidates).
• Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Team player.
• Recommendations desirable.
