Design Project Manager

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an industry-leading importer, distributor and designer of luxury Italian interior furnishings across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Design Project Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Design Project Manager you will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of design projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that all design projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess approximately 3 years of experience in a relevant role. You will need to be able to manage multiple projects concurrently, including managing relationships with clients and internal project stakeholders. Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, as well as suppliers, to ensure flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Communicate project objectives to relevant fields (design, order transfer, application, and delivery) with the participation of all stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor progress.
• Manage changes in the various fields for program implementation, project scheduling, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Manage and report as needed.
• Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
• Act and move to minimize risks for each project.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers.
• Create and maintain extensive documentation for each project.
• Familiarize with project clients and receive detailed instructions on orders and clarifications for specific project requirements.
• Assign tasks for the execution of each project based on the experience levels of staff and associates.
• Monitor the performance of each project, particularly to analyze the successful completion of short-term and long-term goals.
• Continuously develop leadership skills.
• Participate in meetings and relevant training as required for improving offerings.
• Perform other related duties as deemed to help the overall project.
• Maintain diagrams and process maps on the computer for easier completion and documentation of the company's needs.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in analyzing project performance metrics and generating insightful reports for Senior Management.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and documenting project needs comprehensively.
• Competence in using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana), Gantt charts, and other relevant software.
• Experience in managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments.
