Facilities Maintenance Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and addressing any building-related concerns. As a Cognyter, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks like HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to detect and address issues promptly.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from occupants and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with the health and safety team to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
• Assist with facility improvement projects and keep work areas organized.
• Provide support to other departments for facility-related issues.
• Proficient in administrative tasks such as managing IPRs (Internal Purchase Requests), organizing folders, and supporting projects like ISO, H&S and other.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends in building maintenance.

Requirements: For this mission, you'll need:

• Technical high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Basic Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• License or certificate in electrical work or cooling system maintenance preferred.
