We are looking for a competent Fashion Buyer to enhance our buying team, whose goal is to ensure that the business always has adequate stock that meets the quality and variety standards of Celestino.

As a Fashion Buyer, you will continually look for new products and review existing ones to ensure we are up-to-date on current trends and you will also need to negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices.

This role is very important for our business, so the ideal candidate must be a responsible individual with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our stock
• Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
• Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices
• Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best deal for our company
• Create reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjust your strategies accordingly
• Forge and maintain trust relationships with existing suppliers to promote fair dealing and source new suppliers for future products

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fashion Buyer
• Working proficiency in English
• Outstanding communication abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating
• Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of ERP software (e.g. SoftOne) is an advantage
• High school diploma; BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field will be considered a plus
• Availability to travel abroad will be considered as an asset
