Job Description - Front Office Night Agent

Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, member of Marriott International, is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and ambitious professional Front Office Night Agent.

About Parklane

Parklane is the only internationally branded luxury beach resort in Cyprus, featuring 222 rooms, 34 suites and 18 villas, the award-winning Kalloni Spa and international branded restaurants such as Nammos Limassol and LPM Restaurant & Bar. The company owns the Park Tower, a completed 20-apartment luxury residential tower integrated within the resort’s premises. Parklane is part of MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture, a leading hospitality and real estate group with a portfolio consisting of luxury hotels & resorts and state-of-the-art developments both in Cyprus and abroad.

The Front Office Night Agent is responsible for the operation of the Front Office department during the night. He/she has the responsibility to ensure total guest satisfaction and that guest services and administrative duties are performed speedily and efficiently. Is responsible to ensure that all hotel policies, standards, procedures and regulations are followed.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve guests' experience.
  • Handling customer complaints and special requests.
  • Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the reception area.
  • Preparing reports on customer feedback, bookings, and cancellations.
  • Updating files and records.
  • Performing the Night Audit procedures
  • Enforcing all cash-handling, checking, and credit procedures.
  • Ensures good communication between all departments and the front office to better Serve our guests.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward guest service.

Requirements

  • Diploma in hospitality will be preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written). Any other foreign language will be an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
