IT System Administrator

Our top-notch team of professionals is rapidly growing, and we are currently looking for an experienced IT System Administrator.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and storage devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implement security measures to protect the organization's systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, including setting up new accounts, resetting passwords, and controlling access to sensitive information.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or disasters.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and improve existing systems and processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT system administration to ensure our systems remain current and efficient.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing training when necessary.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies and system alerts.

Requirements:

• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with server administration in Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are desirable.
