Junior Accountant

Pharmakas Quarries, a leading international group of companies specializing in the Construction Materials Industry, is seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join its offices in Nicosia.

The Position

• Assists with the issuance, posting and control of documents (invoices - expenses)
• Responsible for checking and filing of invoices
• Posting of accounting entries in the software system
• Supports supplier’s payments
• Participates in the credit control of customers and suppliers
• Communicates with banking institutions
• Collaborates with the external auditors of the organization
• Performs any other general accounting job allocated by the management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline will be considered as an advantage
• LCCI Higher (Accounting Third Level) will be considered as an advantage
• Relevant working experience in an accounting department will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
• Communication Skills
• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
• Organizational Skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Attention to detail
