We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Limassol.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily accounts reconciliation, including analyzing account data and generating financial reports
• Preparing local & other group statutory reports (use of caseware software)
• Assist in the preparation of VAT & Tax reports
• Assist with external audit process
• Review and monitoring of invoices and preparation of payment instructions
• Bank reconciliations
• Perform other general accounting & bookkeeping duties
• Implement accounting records of day-to-day transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc.)
• Meet deadlines for monthly closings and reconciliations, preliminary review, and analysis of the trial balance, while also providing explanations when requested.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Fluency in English language at a professional level
• Team player
• Attention to detail
