About the job

Mission

We are looking for a Junior Accountant, who can strengthen our team and extend the support provided in this role for the Unifiedpost Group.  You will have extensive contacts with major financial players and assigned international entities. 

Operational tasks

• Perform daily accounting tasks
• Posting of purchase and sales invoices
• Coding to the right accounts, cost center, product line, VAT codes, etc
• Entering financial transactions into our internal databases
• Prepare bank deposits
• Filing of invoices, bank statements and daily transactions
• Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
• Creating and updating expense reports
• Processing reimbursement forms
• Different administrative tasks and contact with suppliers
• Focus on one society or limited amount of activities for different societies
  

   

Organizational tasks

• follow accounting principles and other quality standards 
• respect deadlines
• apply work procedures, guidelines and instructions in performing the job responsibilities and tasks
• take over colleagues’ tasks and responsibilities during holidays or other leaves

• an advanced degree in Accounting 
• proven work experience in an accounting firm or other relevant field as accountant for more than 1 years 
• very good knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• good knowledge of the local fiscal legislation 
• expert in Excel
• strict attention to detail and confidentiality
• fluent in English
• FRS knowledge is an asset
