Job Description - Operations Manager

Company Overview:

Faraday Norton is a privately owned investment group, with a diversified portfolio across various business sectors and geographical areas.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as Operations Manager .

Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee our company's ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the senior management team, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of the company, maintaining control of diverse business operations, thus requiring an efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics .

Key Responsibilities:

· Operational Leadership: Ensure the company's procedures are maintained or improved to ensure smooth operations across all departments.

· Project Management: Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

· Strategic Planning and Growth: Assist the CEO in strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.

· Team Management: Manage staff and collaborate on departmental planning, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.

· Performance Management: Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO.

· Budget Control: Manage operational budget to ensure rational expenditure and financial efficiency.

· Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all operations adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies, maintaining a high standard of quality.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Proven experience as Operations Manager or a similar role.

· Understanding of the different business functions.

· Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.

· Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

· Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

· Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

· Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

· Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field

· Project management certification is a plus.
