Job Description - Payroll & Benefits Assistant

Your role & responsibilities:

As a Payroll & Benefits Assistant , you will support HR functions and assist with the full payroll process cycle. Your goal is to provide high-level service to employees throughout the company.

The Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including processing enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system
  • File and organize payroll-related documents for easy retrieval
  • Maintain vacation and sick time records
  • Upload to ERGANI all the necessary information
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve payroll-related issues
  • Point of contact for employee’s request

The Key Requirements of the role are:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Payroll, preferable in a fast-paced environment
  • A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English
  • Good knowledge of Greek tax and wage laws
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user, experience and knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of Scan HRMS is a plus
