Project Manager

PLANET S.A. is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Project Manager for a public sector client, focused on delivering strong leadership and critical problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of a high-profile facilities management project
• Lead the project team towards the efficient and timely delivery of deliverables by setting clear targets and removing hindrances
• Monitor the execution of the project in accordance with public procurement and administrative law procedures
• Identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion
• Review the quality of FM services (cleaning, security, maintenance) with clear and up-to-date documentation
• Research and apply best practices and benchmark knowledge on project implementation
• Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met
• Conduct regular project meetings and effectively communicate project updates, expectations, and decisions to all stakeholders
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity

Requirements

• University degree
• At least 15 years of work experience (cumulative) in facilities management services (Soft FM – security or cleaning) or/and facilities maintenance services (Hard FM) or/and in the construction of electromechanical facilities, of which 8 years in the position of Project Manager/Director
• Experience in the implementation of consulting projects for public sector clients
• Experience in Greek public procurement legislation
• Experience with EU-funded projects and procedures
• Ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team
• Ability to prioritize and plan to effectively achieve goals and to be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results within deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Greek and English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to clearly and accurately summarize and portray information for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail
