Job Description - Administrative Support Officer

We are currently looking for a driven Administrative Support Officer  based in Athens, Greece to join us remotely and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the company and create a working environment in which people thrive. 

Requirements

Role's Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational assistance to employees via the Employee Service Desk, with regards to general administrative support, employee benefits inquiries, business trip arrangements, and reimbursements. 
  • Facilitate procurement processes, which involve sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders, all while prioritizing cost efficiency and maintaining quality standards. 
  • Execute employee benefits policies, including telephony services, car leasing, and private health insurance, ensuring smooth administration and employee satisfaction. 
  • Handle general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the company, which involve maintaining and updating the company calendar, sorting, and distributing mail, and maintaining filing systems.  
  • Coordinate and manage various corporate events, from initial planning to execution, which includes venue booking, catering arrangements, and logistical coordination. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or any similar feild
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a related role within a dynamic international setting 
  • Proficient in using business software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint), Zoom, support ticket platforms,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Native fluency in Greek (spoken and written) is required 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Detail-oriented mindset 
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships within a dynamic, international remote environment
  • *Ability to work occasionally from the offices in Athens (Petralona) is required*
