System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator with extensive experience in managing Windows systems, Docker containers, Citrix and RDS environments. While our infrastructure is primarily Windows-based, experience with Linux is also important. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Windows servers, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

- Deploy, configure, and manage Docker containers for application deployment.

- Administer and support Citrix and RDS environments.

- Manage and maintain Linux servers as needed.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

- Implement and manage system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessments.

- Automate routine tasks and streamline system management processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Windows, Docker, Citrix and RDS.

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.

- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools.

- Proficiency in managing Citrix and RDS environments or other Terminal Services.

- Experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu) is a plus.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.

- Experience with network protocols, security, and firewalls.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, Docker Certified Associate, Citrix Certified Professional) are a plus.
