Position Overview:

In the role of Treasury Officer, the successful candidate will work closely alongside the Director of Treasury to oversee the company's financial assets, funds, and investments, ensuring they are managed for optimal liquidity, efficiency, and profitability. This pivotal position involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow, mitigate risks, and maximize investment returns. It's an excellent opportunity for someone keen on a treasury role to play a crucial part in shaping the financial success of the company. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive cash flow reports, meticulously identifying and evaluating variances to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Forecast, monitor, and track cash flow on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Provide invaluable support to the Group Treasurer in managing relationships with banks and financial institutions, including facilitating the opening of new accounts and ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
• Execute daily processing of outgoing payments in adherence to relevant timetables and deadlines, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
• Assist the Finance Department as needed, contributing to ongoing requirements and initiatives.
• Direct cash management operations, including daily cash administration, management of current accounts and cultivation of strong bank relations.
• Conduct thorough monitoring of cash transactions to promptly investigate discrepancies and unusual items, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze and resolve payment process-related problems, employing proactive solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Review bank fees and merchant card fees providing regular reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Support internal audit, external audit controls and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, project controllers and the sales department to accurately forecast the timing and amount of future cash flows, optimizing financial planning.
• Administer and maintain the corporate credit card program, overseeing monthly statement submissions and related expense reporting.
• Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive backups for all financial data, contributing to data integrity and security.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong background in treasury management.
• Experience in cash management, risk management, financial analysis, and investment management is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, services, and processes.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Greek and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum travel required.
