Company Description

Costas Christodoulou Ltd is a family business, which was founded by Costas Christodoulou in 1904 and is now owned and run by the 3rd and 4th generations. The company acts as an importer and distributor of finished products and as a provider of services in 4 markets: agriculture, healthcare, graphic arts and industrial raw materials.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nicosia for an Accounting Supervisor.

As the Accounting Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring accounting records are kept accurately and timely for all daily transactions
• Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and month-end close process
• Ensuring bank and cash accounts are reconciled on a weekly basis
• Preparing cash flow reports on a weekly/monthly basis
• Monitoring the ageing of debtors and ensuring implementation of company’s credit policies
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assisting in the preparation of management and departmental accounts
• Ensuring all tax deadlines are met (PAYE, VAT, Income Tax, Social Insurance)
• Participating in external financial audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
