Accounting & Tax Supervisor

The company

Our client, a well-established company in the professional services sector, seeks to recruit an Accounting & Tax professional at the level of Supervisor to be part of the firm’s Accounting & Tax department.

Main Responsibilities

• Provides accounting and tax consulting or compliance services to corporate clients in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
• Coordinates the day-to-day accounting activities of the client companies
• Performs monthly and year end accounting activities (Returns: VAT – VIES / Withholding Taxes/ Intrastat/ Income/FS/ Tax statement)
• Participates in the provision of ad-hoc specialized tax advice
• Takes ownership of engagement and demonstrate good project management skills
• Reviews and ensures completion of each assignment to a high-quality standard, within the budget and according to deadlines
• Delivers excellent client service
• Coordinates and works in a team of qualified, highly motivated professionals and assess their performance
• Actively guide the team and enhance their professional and personal advancement
• Builds relationships and interacts with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Contributes to proposal creation and submission

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• A’ Class Accountant Signature
• At least 5 years of similar professional experience in Accounting & Tax Advisory or Compliance services
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or GAS, would be considered an asset
• Excellent command of the English language; both written and oral
• Excellent IT skills
• Proficiency with Accounting & ERP systems
