Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented accountant to join our concierge & property management company. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing miscellaneous payments and transactions for our esteemed clients' lifestyle needs. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day financial transactions related to clients' daily expenses, including but not limited to bill payments, expense reimbursements, supplier and staff payroll payments.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
  3. Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices and expenses.
  4. Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  5. Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  6. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to clients' expenses.
  7. Stay updated on relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
  8. Handle ad hoc financial tasks and assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a similar role within a private family office or wealth management firm.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GoogleSheets.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  8. Excellent spoken and written Engish
  9. Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
