Job Description - BB Sales Representative

Are you an Agronomist, Biologist or Chemist with a passion for product development and innovation in either Personal Care and Cosmetics speciality ingredients? Do you enjoy working with people, meeting sales targets and getting involved in various projects?

AVEL LTD is a continuously growing commercial and consulting company specialising in innovative product development and specialty raw materials for the industries of; Food and Flavours, Personal Care and Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals and Injectables as well as Detergents and Winery. Our mission is to inspire, develop and deliver relevant product innovation through novel ingredients, a strong know how and a customer centered approach.

Currently, we are looking to extend our Sales team in Athens with B2B Sales Representatives in the Personal Care and Cosmetics Industry . The right candidates will be enthusiastic, persistent and creative individuals who will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, generating sales and managing the customer relationship and commercial project activity with key clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively promoting and selling specialty ingredients intended for the Personal Care and Cosmetics Industry.
  • Participating in innovative product development by consulting our clients on the most appropriate solutions for their end products.
  • Developing the sales of our demanding Portfolio through existing Customers, maximizing Sales opportunities, and identifying new potential clients
  • Providing our customers with general & specific information, as well as technical support with regards to our product portfolio, relevant applications, documents and presentations
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
  • Supporting our channel partners in their sales and marketing activities
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
  • Meeting or exceeding set sales targets and regularly monitoring sales plans and objectives
  • Analyzing sales data to improve results and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitoring of competitors activity and products.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetology or another related field.
  • Must have prior working experience in the sales industry (personal care ingredients preferred)
  • Master’s degree will be highly appreciated
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written)
  • Ability to travel/visit multiple customers throughout the assigned territory
  • Customer service skills and ability to develop working relationships
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Results driven
  • Teamwork spirit
  • Military Obligations fulfilled (for men)
  • Driver’s license (Type B)
  • Knowledge of MS Office – especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
