Job Description - Digital Marketing Manager

In line with the Hotels’ strategic priorities and revenue target by market segment, this position leads the development and delivery of the annual Digital Marketing plan and budget. This role works closely with Sales and Revenue Management teams to create individual tactical and segmental marketing plans, focusing on demand generation and high impact activities with proven ROI across all key segments (Leisure, MICE, F&B, etc.). The position also serves as the main point of contact with Marriott’s local Digital Hub and Marriott Digital Services, to ensure optimum use of all Marriott’s internal marketing channels to maximize campaign reach, impact, and conversion.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops digital marketing strategy and plan by exploring and evaluating digital marketing opportunities with the greatest potential for producing positive sales results.
  • Manages and monitors all digital marketing activities, with emphasis on demand generation and channel optimization to drive improved revenue and profitability and reports on performance and results. Responsibilities include, among others, development and optimization of websites, online platforms, search marketing, email campaigns, online advertising, distribution partnerships, and OTAs.
  • Ensures that all digital marketing campaigns and other actions are targeted to the right audience and delivered on time, and reports on performance and results.
  • Manages and updates all digital marketing touch points to ensure optimization of all channels.
  • Develops and oversees successful execution of the Social Media strategy, organic and paid, in line with brand positioning and key talking points.
  • Contributes to the development of Content-led communication plan and integrates across key digital channels to communicate positioning and reinforce resort USPs and brand passions to target audience. This includes photography, video, copywriting, and other forms of storytelling content.
  • Monitors the constantly changing digital environment for content and budget optimization to achieve maximum exposure and results.
  • Analyzes competitive landscape and trends in the online travel industry and make relevant recommendations.

 

 

Knowledge & Skills

· Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and verbal. Additional language(s) is a plus.

· Full PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft applications and Internet.

· Excellent use of all the major Social Media Business tools and platforms

· Familiar with Hospitality-related tools and platforms

· Familiar with CMS (Content Management Systems)

· Familiar with Google’s Business Tools (AdWords / Analytics)

· Familiar with Email Marketing Platforms

· Reporting and analytical thinking

· Multi-Tasking

· Creative Thinking

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.

· A minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Digital Marketer, preferably in hospitality or service sector.

· A previous additional experience in Marketing and/or Sales, preferably in hospitality or service sector is a plus.

· High level of understanding and knowledge in digital marketing.
