IT Technician

Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred
• Fluency in Greek and English languages – both verbal and written
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure along with excellent knowledge of computers (MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel)
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a focus on detail
• Capacity to perform effectively under stress and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyse and identify computer issues and provide prompt and efficient fixes
• Maintain hardware and software inventory and access rights lists
• Equipment repair
• Assist in the design, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, bandwidth bottlenecks, and network latency
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel to client premises as needed for network assessments, installations, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their network requirements, address concerns, and provide on-site support and guidance
• Represent the organization professionally during client interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience
