Job Description - Junior Compliance Officer

Junior Compliance Officer

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Junior Compliance Officer to join our team.

Νecessary terms:

  • Degree/Bachelor in Business, Finance, Law, or any other related field
  • Computer skills – higher level (Internet, Office)
  • English language skills – higher level (reading/writing)
  • Basic knowledge of payment systems via the Internet
  • Holder of CYSEC certificate (advantage)
  • Risk assessment capabilities

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Liaising with all relevant departments and supporting areas within the Company
  • Ensure ongoing compliance and collaborate with relevant parties to meet reporting obligations
  • Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks
  • KYC controller
  • Complete applications for opening accounts with PSPs along with due diligence and maintaining the ongoing relationship
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance records (e.g. documents, logs, correspondence, reports, etc.
  • Draft and revise policies and procedures and prepare reports for the supervisor, company and all relevant authorities
  • Address employees’ questions and advice on compliance matters
  • Advising and assisting the relevant persons responsible for carrying out the investment services to be compliant with the Law
  • Working on related changes to the Company’s documentation
  • Review, investigate and assist with the resolution of client complaints
  • Perform any other assigned compliance-related tasks, including admin duties
  • Ensuring that all relevant information is included in the Company’s outsourcing agreements
  • Developing, implementing and managing an organization’s compliance program etc.
  • Coordinating with federal and state regulators
  • Planning, implementing and overseeing risk-related programs
  • Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues
  • Developing company compliance communications
  • Coordinating and scheduling required compliance training for employees
  • Performing reviews in accordance with the group compliance risk assessment and monitoring program to assess the group’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations
  • Providing support to members of the compliance team in order to fulfil the group’s reporting obligations
  • Addressing client enquiries
  • Keeping up to date and following up with national and EU legal/regulatory developments
  • Performing any other compliance-related tasks that may be assigned
  • Develop and review company policies

Place of Work

  • The place of work will be at the office of the Company

Normal Working Hours

  • The Employee will be required to work 5 days in every seven days period. The working times will be between 9 am until 5 pm
