ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, an International and well-known Group, is seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Management Accountant to join their Finance Department.

Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of all financial results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive management reports to department heads, facilitating informed decision-making and contributing to the achievement of KPIs and financial objectives. Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results including P&L statements (by vessel, by department, by cruise), balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of monthly financial results, comparing them to prior years and budgets.
- Investigate variances and deviations, providing detailed explanations and suggesting corrective actions as necessary.
- Take overall responsibility for reporting and analyzing the revenue cycle of the organization, employing a hands-on approach to data analysis aimed at improving controls and results.
- Identify and address tax and VAT issues relevant to the cruise industry and within a multi-company organization operating in multiple jurisdictions.
- Mentor accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities, setting deadlines and providing guidance in day-to-day operations.
- Preserve accounting controls and financial security by adhering to internal controls and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments, including treasury, payables, purchasing, legal, sales, insurance, and MIS/IT, to streamline operations and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Produce ad hoc reports and lead projects as requested by the senior management team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience in similar roles.
- Newly qualified ACA/ACCA.
- Good knowledge of Cyprus and/or International Taxation and VAT.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Accounting and/or consolidation software and/or BI software.
- Fluent in both the Greek and English languages.
- Strong team leadership, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Minimum travel required.
