Project Manager
(Civil/Chemical Engineer)
Our client, a Top Pioneering Company in the industry of Waste Management & Alternative Fuel Production, is looking for a Project Manager , based in Thessaloniki and/or Athens
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing dismantling projects, ensuring that the project is managed and delivered in a way that is efficient, within budget and contractual requirements, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible.
What you will focus on:
- Reporting to the Circular Economy Director
- Develop and monitor the project scope, using concepts such as time, cost, quality, and risk management
- Work with engineers, and international Contractors to oversee projects (Waste Management, Soil Remediation, Building Demolitions) from A to Z
- Manage the timeline and budget for the project, ensuring that deadlines are met, and funds are not exceeded
- Being responsible for the implementation of health and safety regulations and practices throughout the process
- Prepare technical and financial proposals
- Coordinate with accounting staff to monitor expenditures daily during projects
- Recommend ways to improve the current situation in the company’s facilities and projects
- Manage the development of budgets, timelines, and schedules for various projects
- Assess the feasibility of proposed projects based on financial data and market conditions
- Develop accurate Reporting and strong MS Project user
Requirements
- BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a relevant degree
- Proven experience of at a least 5 years, having managed at least one (1) construction civil project between €15 – 25 mio value
- Ability to travel to Thessaloniki 40% of working time (if employee is an Athens residence)
- Κnowledge of business and management principles (i.e., budgeting).
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English language (verbal, written).
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
- International exposure to complex Projects within
