We are currently looking for a Security Coordinator to join our team. The Security Coordinator is a vital advisor and partner of the Security Manager (Premises). He therefore monitors and evaluates the security situation that impacts on global MYTILINEOS’ activities, providing advice and suggestions regarding risk mitigation for the Organization's premises/sites/offices as well for the personnel in Greece and worldwide. Your role will encompass:

• Drafts the physical security plan and conducts the risk assessment, the evacuation plan and the travel management plan in cooperation with the Security Manager
• Undertakes scheduled and extraordinary site visits with regard to evaluate the efficiency of the existing security safeguards and the quality of the services of the contracted guard force in the construction sites and country offices overseas
• Monitors and evaluates the security systems in the premises and corporate facilities in Greece and provides the required directives for the improvement of the existing security systems
• Submits to his superior a quarterly report, regarding his full spectrum of activities and the security related findings of his surveys of the facilities in Greece, as well as field trips to the construction sites and country offices overseas
• Monitors the transportation of the international personnel and maintains an ongoing evaluation of air and land routes in the countries with corporate activity.
• Mentors and coaches the Construction Site Managers with regards to guard force management and other security related issues
• Assists the Projects Managers in the negotiation of contracts with private security companies and in the preparation of offers for the acquisition of new projects

What you will bring to the role:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• Relevant to the role attendance of Seminars or Educational Programs
• More than 5 years of experience in a relevant role
• Solid knowledge of the English language (in written/verbally)
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office applications
• Communication skills, time management, critical thinking, attention to detail, dedication, team spirit and trustworthiness
• Ability to travel
