Senior Python Developer

We are Semrush, a global IT company developing our own product – a platform for digital marketers. New stars are born here, so don’t miss your chance. This is our role Python Developer for those who want to turn ideas into reality using code, algorithms, and maybe a bit of magic. Tasks in the role

• Developing new functionality, starting from implementation design up to release and to production.
• Continuous monitoring of already released features and reacting to alerts.
• Contributing to refactoring/improvement of current functionality.
• Developing and improving infrastructure through DevOps practice.
• Participating in a code review session.
• End-to-end ownership of the service we are responsible for.
• Covering new functionality with unit tests and participating in the development of E2E testing.
• Mentoring more junior engineers.
• Ensuring good collaboration with other teams.

Who we are looking for

• Strong expertise in Python, 5+ years of commercial development.
• Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, asyncio, pytest.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or any other RDBMS, including writing SQL requests.
• Knowledge of design principles and architectural patterns, especially event-driven.
• Experience in REST, gRPC, GraphQL concepts, and usage.
