At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are currently looking for a high-performing Technical Support Officer to join our team. The position is based at Kryoneri (Athens).

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Diagnose and/or fix basic instrumental failures and errors related to the company’s laboratories.
• Manage and undertake laboratory equipment routine preventative maintenance.
• Co-ordinate calibration, maintenance and service activities provided by external suppliers.
• Support as required IT and Quality team.
• Participate in lab audits and inspections, always ensure laboratory equipment compliance.

• Manage and support GMP activities related to equipment quality documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and technicians, as required.

• Participate in training and organizing training sessions related to laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• University degree. Preferred fields Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology or relevant.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory equipment/instrument maintenance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent in collaborating with other departments and individuals.
• Problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Fluent oral and written skills in Greek & English.
