About the position:

Our Mercure hotel in Larnaca is actively recruiting cooking staff, starting mid of February.

About you:

Let's talk about you:

• Passionate about gastronomy, you are able to master certain culinary techniques specific to cooks in large restaurants. You are keen to delight your guests.
• Methodical, efficient and creative, you are able to show versatility within your brigade for the preparation of dishes.
• Conscientious, both in the execution of the recipes developed and in the respect of the hygiene and quality standards of the kitchen.
• Be EU citizen.

By joining us as a Cook, you will become an Heartist.

Your missions:

• You are under the responsibility of the second chef for the execution of the dishes, the recipes, in compliance with the given deadlines (and it's sometimes a rush in the kitchen).
• You prepare the dishes and participate in sending them to the dining room.
• You are responsible for the cleanliness of your workplace and for food safety by complying with HACCP hygiene rules. You participate in inventory work as well as the control and storage of goods upon delivery.
