Trade Logistics , part of FOURLIS Group of Companies located in Schimatari & Oinofyta (Logistics centre for brand names IKEA, INTERSPORT & Holland & Barrett), is currently looking to recruit:

IT Supervisor-WMS Project Leader

( for the new Distribution center of Inter-IKEA located in Aspropyrgos Attica)

The Position:

Being a member of our Company’s project team for the new Distribution Centre of Inter-IKEA in Aspropyrgos and reporting to the IT & Automation Systems Manager , you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Acting as a Project Leader for setting up the new WMS, in cooperation with Inter-IKEA (design, build, preparation & deployment)
• Taking lead in pre-study, mapping, warehouse logistics approval, Business Acceptance Test and other related projects for Warehouse Logistic set up (networks, scanners, PCs, printers etc.) in the new Distribution Unit start up process
• Maintaining and optimizing the warehouse system and IT system as per Inter-IKEA global standard level, supporting the local unit to achieve excellence in running operations
• Handling new releases implementation in the local unit and secure related training to maximally utilize the WMS functions
• Taking part and assuming responsibility in various efficiency projects for all aspects related to systems and related working methods
• Closely monitoring and managing all operating costs and P&L elements related to the areas of responsibility
• Selecting, developing and maintaining a motivated team, capable of achieving the agreed objectives

Qualifications & Competencies required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Engineering
• 3-5 years of working experience in Warehouse Management/Logistics Systems operation & support
• Experience as a super user in operating WMS systems, order management applications & database systems
• Experience to create reports and operational queries in different databases (minimum SQL databases)
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal
• Drive for results
• Good planning, organizing & priority setting skills
• Ability to work under pressure, in strict deadlines
• Analytical thinking, problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Teamwork

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• Previous working experience in a similar position as Supervisor
• Experience in complex IT systems projects as Project Leader
• Postgraduate degree
